2020年のレコード・ストア・デイは3日間開催！第1弾の“RSD Drops”は8月29日（土）。ワーナーミュージック・ライフ的おススメレコード紹介【第1回】

全世界のレコード好きがお気に入りのレコード・ショップに集う年に一度のレコードの祭典”レコード・ストア・デイ“。例年4月の第3土曜日に世界同時開催されておりますが、今年は新型コロナウイルス感染拡大の影響を受け、8月29日(土)・9月26日(土)・10月24日(土)に「RSD Drops」として開催されます。

その第一弾となる8月29日（土）を今週末に控え、この日に発売となるレコード・ストア・デイ限定盤を今週、いくつかご紹介したいと思います。

まずお話したいのが、毎年貴重な音源を限定盤として発売しているデヴィッド・ボウイの2作品！今年はどちらの作品もアナログに加え、CDでも発売となります。これは注目です！

David Bowie 『I’m Only Dancing (The Soul Tour 74)』

デヴィッド・ボウイ、1974年のSOUL TOURから、10月20日のデトロイト、Michigan Palace公演からの音源、そしてアンコール部分は11月30日のナッシュヴィル、 Municipal Auditorium公演で収録された音源を集めたライヴ・アルバム。こちらは何とゲートフォールド仕様のアナログ2枚組と、同内容のCD2枚組でのリリースとなります！

1997年1月8日のデヴィッド・ボウイ50歳の誕生日に放送されたラジオ特番のために収録されたアコースティック中心のスタジオ・セッション音源を収録。ボウイ本人のお気に入り楽曲をフィーチャーしたこのセッションのプロデュースを手掛けるのは、ボウイとReeves Gabrels、 Mark Plati。
